I just checked the new schedules for the 2009/2010 season and Friday nights are awesome, for the first time in years we will have options to stay home Friday Nights (not as sad as it sounds, lol) let’s take a look.

ABC: ABC will start the night with horrible, horrible kids under the care of British nannies in Super Nanny, and then we’re gonna watch the new adventures of Betty, will Daniel and Betty start a relationship this year? who knows? the end night with 20/20, yah I will be the first one to watch 20/20, c’mon get a life.

CBS: A night from the after life is ready in CBS starting with Fridays hit show Ghost Whisperer, followed by a similar show, Medium and we finish the night lots of Numb3rs.

CW: CW’s iconic tv show Smallville for its final season will be moved to Friday’s nights where its middle to bad ratings will get worst specially if it’s the leading for a rerun of Next’s Top Models.

FOX: Fox’s Fridays will start with lots of comedy with new comedy  Brothers and ‘Til Death followed by the miraculous back-to-life Whedon’s worst work ever: Dollhouse, which it’s back with a huge budget reduction with the commitment to retain the same number of viewers, that’s  good news coming from FOX, that is not famous for keeping crapy-ratings tv shows, not even the fridays.

NBC: The once great, major network NBC will mix the past and the future in one night, Friday’s. The very, very old tv show, in the cold and feezing NYC Law and Order (with the hottest guy in the world: Detective Lupo)  will be together with the brand-new, just came out of the oven, with extremely hot cops in the town of the shirtless people SOUTHLAND. Lots of Drama and cool storylines.

So it’s your choice what to watch this 2009/2010 season.

Fringe Season Two Start Engines

An epic war is about to start now: CSI vs Grey’s Anatomy vs Fringe. Yes, Fringe is moving to Tuesdays 9pm against the blockbusters tv shows CSI and Grey’s Anatomy.

But that’s not all the news I got from Fringe. The entire production of Fringe is leaving their US facilities to move to Canada (X-files worked their first five seasons on Canada as well) and a lot of the behind the scenes staff won’t be a part of the new stage of Fringe. This moving is due to budget reductions in the WB (the producer of Fringe). Another news come from Kirk Acevedo (Agent Charlie Francis) that is not coming back for a second season of Fringe.

Well I can’t wait for the Nielsen battle between the CBS, ABC and FOX, this is with Supernatural and The Office out of the Picture, all I can say is I can’t wait, I just can’t to see who’s the tuesdays winner (let’s face it CSI is downhill now)

Great 5×16 / 5×17 “Lost” – It was awesome!

I have to say this season finale was unexpected, but in a really great way it keeps us making theories about what’s gonna happen next year (yes, next year) on our favorite show LOST.

The story was split in two storylines, one in 1977 with Jack wanting to destroy the the island by an H-bomb and another in 2007 with Locke wanting to kill Jacob and the stick-together element: Jacob’s moments in the lives many people related to the Island.

Despite all the blogs and comments are talking about a High Level fight between Jacob and his nemesis (or enemy), I have this feeling that Jacob and his nemesis are not so unknown as everybody thinks.

I have to say that Jacob’s nemesis behaviour is very very familiar to an specifical character and so Jacob’s and yah those characters were in the Oceanic 815 Flight. But anyway let’s keep the theories aside and let’s talk about what happened.

Eloise is committed to Jack’s crusade against the island, but Richard is not ready to let her go pregnant with those freaks who claim to be from the future. So as usual Jack starts the hell when he goes to the Swan and the son of bitches of Dharma specially Phil and Radintzki or whatever are there. I don’t think there had been any character so hate-able as them, not even the crazy fella that wanted to burn the island last year. Well no matter what the magnetic pocket is on and it’s absorbing all the metalic stuff into the hatch, this make Juliet to fall and the lovely scene (better than Charlotte’s death) where she falls leaving Sawyer really really sad. Juliet then encouraged by Jack’s theory that if the bomb explode all of them will come back to their normal lives in America, she hits the device so it can explode and it did.

On the other side we find that Locke isn’t Locke but Jacob’s enemy and that he’s got Ben on his side ready to kill him, Jacob is a normal guy like Richard (who seems to be from the ancient Rome) and it seems that Jacob’s enemy plans (yes, Christian’s Shephard ghost is not working for Jacob but for Jacob’s enemy) aren’t perfect since their worst enemies are coming to get him (Alana and the Ajira’s Survivors).

Why Jacob’s enemy is so interested in having Aaron safe? Why did he take Walt’s shape? Why Jack and Jacob seem so familiar to each other? that’s all unanswered questions, but here I go I want to give my theory so pay attention please:

Jacob’s enemy is none else but a reincarnated version of Sawyer and Jacob is a reincarnated version of Jack (it’s got sense since there was a fight between Sawyer and Jack and he was ready to kill Jack just like Jacob’s nemesis wants to kill Jacob). The reason why Jacob’s enemy (Sawyer) wants Aaron away from his true family is so simple as Aaron is Jack’s new version it means Jacob. Jacob (Jack) would want to fix everything and want a happy ending for the island. But his nemesis (Sawyer) knows it’s gonna end the same way and he will do whatever it takes to get rid of Jacob. That’s just my theory at the end Jack and Sawyer will have a huge fight. That’s all.

How good is the strategy of “Fringe”? A word about the season finale.

Well, Fringe’s first season is over now and it passed the test, we can say it’s because of American Idol, and yes FOX gave FRINGE a huge, huge leading show…but we have to agree Fringe is not an awesome tv series, let’s face it, Fringe is not a CSI, or a Grey’s Anatomy or a Desperate Housewives…it’s in the same level that CSI:NY or Lost, middle quality show. So why FOX is so committed to Fringe? It’s just a word: potential.

Fringe has the potential to attract a big spectrum of viewers, the expected to be a mix between the sci-fi/dramatic tone of the X-files (maybe somehow like LOST) and the homeland security issues/ evil company/ terrorists groups  like 24.

Fringe also explore the individual evil, just one man able to do horrible things (pretty much like CSI); and finally a female leading, having boyfriend issues and conflicts between her job and her personal (I wanna say sexual) life.

The family conflict between the Bishops is also a great aspect of the show, the crazy scientist father and the funny but boasting son, with legal issues it’s also good stuff.

Yes, FRINGE has got everything to be a huge hit (I’d like to see how it’d work a face to face between CSI, Grey’s Anatomy and Fringe) the strategy to atract viewers is also excellent: every episode start with an independent storyline, a weird case so we can follow the episode 15 or 9 or 18 with no information about previous episodes, but eventually we find out, that even when the particular case is solved, there is an opening ending, this lead us to watch more episodes (I watched the first episode, didn’t like it…but started in episode 10, and I’m watching them all), so this strategy is good.

What’s the problem then? Fringe’s got a floating audience, yes it’s like a dancefloor…it’s always full of people but it’s not the same people. It’s got so many good elements that sometimes it loses focus, I’d like to see how works an episode only Olivia-oriented (she’s my favorite character) no Walters, no Peters, no Massive Dynamics, no black-boss-who-used-to-be-in-Lost. A girly episode including sex and hot guys, would it like to the action fans? to the sci-fi fans? to the evil characters/ conspiracy fans?

I wanna see how Fringe works without the fabulous leading of “Idol” and “House” on a Thursday night, it will be the test FOX must give to Fringe to see if FOX has the potential to beat ABC and CBS asses and become the first major network
